Southern Methodist University wasn’t initially on Jordi Redelijk’s recruiting radar. He didn’t plan to make any visits to the Dallas campus.

The five-star from Windermere, Florida committed to SMU on Tuesday night.

“I knew it was a good school, but they had never reached out to me and I had never reached out to them. But once Grant got there, it was automatically really high on my list,” Redelijk said. “I definitely trusted Grant a lot. The tennis program is obviously in a rebuilding phase, but I want to be a part of that with Grant and turn it into a force to be reckoned with.”
