Krish Arora checked his Instagram account after playing in the USTA National Clay Courts last summer and noticed an inquiry from Georgia Tech men’s assistant coach Kevin King.
“He really liked my game and the way I played, so he sent me a message and we started talking,” Arora said.

Both sides liked what they heard from each other, and Arora decided to sign with the Yellow Jackets. The California native is graduating high school early to enroll at Georgia Tech in the fall.
Arora was a blue chip in the class of 2024, and is now a five-star in the class of 2023 after reclassifying. He is taking his junior and senior year courses in one academic year to have enough credits to graduate.
“They had the idea of me coming in early, just thinking it will benefit not just me for tennis but me as a person to be put in an environment where I have to adapt to things from a very young age,” said Arora, who just turned 17. “It will put me to the test and help me mature much better and also benefit the team.”
