The fifth-seeded Wang (San Jose, California) defeated No. 3 Enya Hamilton (Addison, Texas) 6-2, 6-2 in the championship matchup.

“I was just thinking, in those pressure situations, to stay loose,” said Wang about her tournament performance. “I focused on the process and my game plan, which was to be aggressive and play with variety.”
