Patrick Kypson won't be signing early this week. Will he be signing at all?
The blue chip senior is still debating whether to play college tennis or bypass college and pursue a professional career.
“I am going to play on the tour right now a little bit and see how it goes, and then if I decide to go to school it will probably be next year in the fall or maybe in the spring of 2019,” said Kypson, Tennis Recruiting Network’s No. 1-ranked senior boy. “But I really haven't narrowed it down yet.”
The Raleigh, North Carolina native will be weighing a number of factors in his decision.
“Obviously the financial part of it is big, if I can get good enough to get endorsements. Where I feel comfortable going to college is a little bit of it, and then a little bit of it is where I am going to be ranked in six to eight months,” Kypson said. “But the most important part to me is feeling like I can do it every day as a job and still like it as much as I do now.”
