Countdown: Wolf Decides Among Ivy Powers
by
Alana Marcu, 3 April 2008
Like any college-bound athlete in their final semester of school and final months of junior sport, Emily Wolf appears to be an excited, positive, somewhat relaxed, somewhat nervous teenager ready to embark on her long sought-after goal of playing for an Ivy League college tennis team.
"I had great visits to
Harvard,
Dartmouth,
Yale, and
Penn," says Emily sitting in her Upper East Side apartment calming her energetic, new puppy, "But after going on my recruiting trips and narrowing my choices down, Penn seemed like the best fit for me."
Emily describes herself as a city girl at heart.
"I like walking two blocks and getting a slice of pizza or going to a movie if I have time and I feel like it."
As a senior in high school, Emily appears extremely focused and confident in what she is looking for.
