TOURNAMENTS
Competed in many National tournaments in 16s and 18s, recently beat (12-09-07) Nick Caledonia (ranked #76 in TenRctg and 93 in USTA) in a Level 4 Superchamps tournament in Texas. Also recently beat a Blue Chip Ryan Chueng (#24 in TenRctg and #23 in Natl 16s) in the Agassi No Quit tournament in Vegas, along with other national match wins and very close against several high profile players.
Starting in 14s, consistantly ranked top 5 (highest #1) in District (Utah) , consistantly top 10 to 20 (Highest # 8) in Section (Intermountain), and maintained top 320 National ranking over the last 3 years (highest #255 in 16s), Currently #275 in 18s.
HIGH SCHOOL
FRESHMAN- 2nd in State Tourn. (#1 Singles), Utah-5A schools (largest division)
SOPHMORE- STATE CHAMPION (#1 Singles), Utah 5A
JUNIOR- Lost in State Tourn to Spencer Smith ( 5 Star (#22 in TenRctg) , now #30 in Natl 18s)
SENIOR- 2nd in State Tourn. Lost in State Finals to Spencer Smith (see above)
ACADEMY
Currently in John Newcombe Tennis Academy Program until at least April 2008.
Will start college in fall 2008. (College is undetermined, likely until Mar 2008).
Worked as Camp Counselor (tennis) at Newcombe during summer of 2007.
Also,10 weeks in John Newcombe Tennis Academy (Aug to October 2006)
