TOURNAMENTS
Quality competitor at respected tournaments, including Mountain Ocean Junior Open, Jon Cox Memorial, Colorado State Junior Open, Summer Sizzler Circuit. Entry into sectional competition at the 2006 Summer sectional, Boise. Followed up with appearance at 2007 Easter Circuit, Las Vegas. Breakout tournament performance with a runner-up finish at the 2007 Colorado Springs Memorial Park Open. Achieved first sectional victory at the 2007 Summer sectional, Highlands Ranch, CO, accompanied by quality play throughout the tournament. Coached by respected veteran Danny Gonzales, son of the legendary Pancho Gonzales.
HIGH SCHOOL
Made Varsity squad as a Freshman at #4 doubles under coach Jeff Wasden. Moved up to #1 doubles as a Sophomore. As a Junior, landed the #1 singles spot. Played under 1st year coach Don Zolla to a 4-8 record in dual competition, primarily in the rugged Continental League. Returning #1 singles player for his Senior Year. Completed the 2007-2008 regular season with an 7-4 record. He also won the Littleton Invitational as the #1 singles player taking his record to 8-4.
