TOURNAMENTS
I had major reconstructive shoulder surgey in the fall of my junior year. I was diagnosed with multi-directional instability and had the capsule in my shoulder tightened to correct the problem. After nine months of rehab, I am now fully recovered and have just begun playing tournaments again. Prior to my injury, I was ranked in the top ten in the 16s in the Mid Atlantic and had started playing in the 18s. I had been playing national tournaments prior to my injury as well, and was ranked in the top 200. I participated in the 12s, 14s, and 16s zonal tournaments also. Before my injury, I was a four star recruit on tennisrecruiting.net.
HIGH SCHOOL
I played number two singles behind Sonja Meighan, and was all-Independent School League my freshman, sophomore, and junior years and All-State my sophomore and junior years. My junior year, I was chosen MVP by my coach. I completed the high school season before my surgery in 2009. MY freshman and sophomore years, Flint Hill won the State Championship.
