I have had several dental surgeries due to congenital issues that started in mid 2011 and are nearing completion! Phase 5 of 5 this June 2013! I have continued to train around these procedures. Last procedure done, now just some fine tuning with final work to be done by mid-September!
I love doubles! I played doubles for the state tournament for my first 2 years during my high school season.
This last season as a Junior I played #2 singles. My fellow team captain, good friend and first singles player Lauren Golick was the Ohio State Champion D1 this year.
This coming season I will be team captain again and first singles player. I am seriously committed to my off-court training which includes a structured fitness and nutrition program. It is fun because it is in a group with other athletes of all sports both male and female and we all help each other out. I have met some non-tennis friends and that is good. I feel my best tennis is yet to come!
