Dear Sir or Madam,

I have known Cadence Lynn for nine years, but most closely the past three as a member of the girls' tennis team at Olathe South High School in Olathe, Kansas, which is 6A classification, the largest in the state. I coached her brother, Branton, in 2009 and then had the privilege of coaching Cady her freshman and sophomore years at Olathe South. She is a three-year letter winner, Most Valuable Player of the team each season, and has medaled in the Kansas 6A state singles tournament each year, taking 3rd as a sophomore.
Cady is a right-handed player with an all-court game, remarkably quick footwork, and an ability to implement appropriate strategic techniques according to her opponents strengths and weaknesses. Her serve and groundstrokes are exceptional, and her doubles experience in USTA tournament play has made her quite skilled at the net. Competitively, she has an intense desire to succeed, and she worlds hard in practice and in matches to perform at her best ability. Simply stated, she loves the game of tennis and spends countless hours practicing to improve.
Along with 23 years of head high school, I have four years of head NAIA level coaching experience, and I know how many collegiate athletes often lose the heart and desire for tennis they once possessed. Cady is a true exception and would be a tremendously positive and valuable asset to any collegiate program. She is extremely coachable and will just continue to improve each day she spends on the courts.
During these past few years, I have grown to know Cady well and believe she is a person of exceptional character and ability. In fact, I anticipate she will serve as a team captain next fall of her senior year. She is an amazing leader, always supports her teammates, and provides a positive role model on an off the courts. Her ability to balance school and athletics, and attaining a high level of achievement in both, is a testament to her daily dedication to living a successful life. I believe Cady has a very promising future as a collegiate tennis student-athlete, and I would support her in all she chooses to pursue. Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Jon Renberger
