The score in the other was 6-4; 7-5. I helped my team attain the best season in school history. Also, for the third year, I was awarded the Coaches Award for outstanding performance.

October 1, 2008 - Today I had one of the biggest wins of my high school tennis career. I won a three set regular seaon match against the defending Illinois state champion, Elizabeth Epstein. In the first set I was down 5-2 and came back to win the set 7-6(5). Then, I lost the second set 6-2. I lost the first two games of the third set and then won six games in a row to win the set 6-2. I am proud of the fact that I kept my composure. Also, my hard work with my trainer also contributed to the fact that I felt physically fit.
