Coaching Achievements
Head Coach Kate Roiter Bayard:
*Kate Roiter Bayard enters her 18th year as head coach at Tufts.
*named 2021 ITA National Coach of the Year
*named 2021 NESCAC Coach of the Year (4th time)
*USTA coach of the year in '10
*5 individual national titles (2 in singles, 3 in doubles).
*Players have been named All-American 25 times in her time @Tufts
*College Tennis: Bayard earned First Team All-Ivy honors 4 times while playing for Harvard, where she captained 2 Ivy League championship teams for the Crimson. She was Ivy League Rookie of the year during her freshman year while playing #1 singles and #1 doubles for the Crimson. The Harvard team was ranked as high as #15 nationally in Division I with a win over a top 5 team.
*Junior tennis: Bayard was ranked nationally #3 in doubles and #26 in singles in junior USTA final rankings. Bayard won the national USTA national sportsmanship award in the girls 16's.
*Bayard also earned Mass State All-Star soccer honors & Eastern Mass All-star soccer honors while captaining her high school soccer team.
