Tournament Highlights
NCAA Team and Individual Performances from 2011-2018:
- In 2011, beat BYU 1st round then lost in the round of 32 against USC. Dean Jackson qualified for the NCAA tournament and finished #35 in the country.
- In 2012, beat Fresno State 1st round then lost in the round of 32 against UCLA. Nikola Bubnic qualified for the NCAA tournament and finished #59 in the country.
- In 2013, beat Alabama 1st round then lost in the round of 32 against USC. Clarke Spinosa finished #65 in the country.
- In 2014, beat Boise State 1st round then lost in the round of 32 against UCLA. Clarke Spinosa qualified for the NCAA Individual tourney and finished #54.
- In 2015, lost to San Diego State 1st round. Uros Petronijevic qualified for the NCAA individual tournament and finished #55 in the country.
- In 2016, beat Vanderbilt 1st round then lost in the round of 32 against #2 UCLA. Uros Petronijevic qualified for the NCAA individual tournament and finished 47th.
- In 2017, lost to Wisconsin 1st round. Filip Vittek qualified for the NCAA individual tournament and finished #103 in the country.
- In 2018, beat #30 Texas Tech 4-2 in the 1st round then lost in the round of 32 against #2 UCLA. Freshman August Holmgren qualified for the NCAA individual tournament and finished 61st.
- In 2019, beat #38 Minnesota 4-1 in the 1st round then lost in the round of 32 against #8 USC. Junior Gui Osorio qualified for the NCAA individual tournament along with doubles duo August Holmgren and Joel Gamerov. August and Joel became the first team to reach the quarterfinals and finished 26th in the country. Gui Osorio finished 58th and August Holmgren finished 104th in the nation.
- In 2021, junior August Holmgren qualified for the NCAA individual tournament and finished 42nd in the country. August became an All-American.
- In 2022, beat UC Irvine 4-0 in the 1st round then lost in the round of 32 against #13 USC. Senior August Holmgren qualified for the NCAA individual tournament along with doubles duo August Holmgren and Gui Osorio. August became the second player in USD history to reach the finals of the NCAA singles tournament and finished 4th in the country. Gui Osorio and August Holmgren finished 19th in the nation.
